The Not-So-Technical-But-Much-More-Interesting Answer
Rejoice! Community Church is not a building or even a gathering on Sunday mornings. We are a group of broken, imperfect people who are striving, both individually and as a community, to know Jesus and become more like him. We are a people on a journey, and along the way we’re looking for ways to offer a hand to other travelers, whether a hand of help or of encouragement. Our hope is to never get too settled or too set in our ways, but to always be on the move and open to wherever God’s Holy Spirit might want to lead us. We are a church where the environment is safe and the doors are open for all; to gather, to equip and to be transformed into “Christ-like” people that engage faith, hope and love empowered by the Holy Spirit as God directs us to serve our community and beyond. In the midst of all this we strive to make Rejoice! a house of prayer lifting our voice up to God as we trust and obey.
