Tithing is a spiritual practice — just like prayer or reading scripture. It is the regular act of giving the “first fruits” of your labors to God. Tithing is an act of faith based on the divine principle that everything we have comes from God’s hands.
The spiritual discipline of tithing is one of giving through the church. Tithing congregations are beacons of spiritual vitality and health. They are communities grounded in spiritual relationships, beginning with a relationship to God as the primary source of strength, hope, and life.
We encourage you to continue your worship through the giving of your tithes and offerings. Tithing is a spiritual discipline as we return to God what he has blessed us with, and trust that He will continue to provide. When we do this by faith we are putting our trust in God and not money.
